How much would a plane ticket to poland be? September 10, 2009

Just a general estimate, since all the ticket searches need to include a date and im not sure of one.
It would be a round trip to an airport somewhere near Rytro, Poland from either Cleveland Hopkins International or Akron-Canton airport. Thanks!

Why is it dangerous to walk from an aeroplane to an Airport terminal in Poland and safe in the UK? August 15, 2009
Posted by Rybnik in : Air Travel , 2commentsI fly regularly between these two countries, and am always struck by the fact that in relatively low income Poland buses are always provided (even if the plane is only 100 meters from the terminal) and in Britain you often have to walk. The reason given in Poland is safety. Have there ever been walking to the terminal accidents, or is the UK playing with passengers lives?

Flying alone for the first time? June 9, 2009
Posted by Rybnik in : Air Travel , 2commentsMilka asked:
I am flying alone for the first time, I will be 13. I will be flying internationally, from NY to Gdansk, Poland. I have flown to Poland from the US (usually from Dulles in DC) about 9 times (basically every year I have lived in the US) and flown inside the US a bunch of times too, but always with at least one of my parents. I fly to Warsaw first and then I have a connection to Gdansk. Language is not a problem because I speak both Polish and English fluently. I’m just nervous about loosing something or getting lost. Anybody have any tips about flying alone? Any experiences you could share?

My questions are:
Should get UM service? (I don’t have to becuz i’m older than 12 and I feel pretty comfortable navigating airports)
If I do get the UM service, am I allowed to walk around to stores after I find my gate or do the Flight attendants make me stay there? (the layover is two hours)
When do you pay for and say you want the UM service?
Any experiences to share or flying alone tips?
THANKS SOOO MUCH!!!!!!
